By accessing or using the ISSAB platform (issab.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the International Six Sigma Association Board ("ISSAB", "we", "our", or "us").
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
To access ISSAB programmes, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account details.
ISSAB offers self-paced online certification programmes across five belt levels. Access to course content is granted as follows:
Once access is granted, course content remains available to you for the lifetime of your account. ISSAB may periodically update course content to reflect current best practices and standards. Such updates do not constitute a new or different product.
Examinations are a required component of all ISSAB certification programmes. The following conditions apply:
Upon successful completion of all programme requirements, ISSAB will issue a digital certificate in PDF format. Each certificate includes a unique verification ID that can be verified at issab.org.
Project submissions for Black Belt and Master Black Belt are reviewed within 10 business days of submission. ISSAB will notify the student of the outcome via email. If a project does not meet the required standard, feedback will be provided and the student may resubmit.
ISSAB certifications are valid for the lifetime of the certificate holder. There are no renewal fees, recertification examinations, or continuing education requirements.
ISSAB reserves the right to revoke any certification if it is determined that the certificate was obtained through fraud, cheating, plagiarism, or misrepresentation. The certificate holder will be notified in writing and given the opportunity to respond before any revocation is finalised.
All content on the ISSAB platform — including but not limited to course materials, video lessons, PDF documents, examination questions, the ISSAB name, logo, and branding — is the intellectual property of ISSAB and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
All prices are displayed on the ISSAB website in United States Dollars (USD). The following pricing applies at the time of publication:
ISSAB reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Students who have already purchased a programme will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
If you wish to request a refund, please contact support@issab.org within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are available only if you have not accessed the course materials. Once course content has been accessed, the purchase is non-refundable.
By using the ISSAB platform, you agree to the following standards of conduct:
Violations of these standards may result in immediate account suspension, certification revocation, and permanent exclusion from all ISSAB programmes.
ISSAB provides certification based on demonstrated competency through examinations and, where applicable, project submissions. Please note the following:
ISSAB collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, examination results, and certification records.
By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy in full.

Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law and best practices for online services.
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform, we encourage you to first contact us at support@issab.org so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.
